Daido Moriyama

Lamda Print
Ninagawa Mika

Duan Yueheng

Zhang Kechun

55x105x3cm(外框尺寸),收藏級藝術微噴
Chen Dazhi

Liu Ke

Chen Dazhi

40 × 60 cm (picture) Rice Paper (Mounted Manually)
Solid Wood Frame, Epson Art Micro-Spray 2018
Chen Dazhi, born in Rongcheng, Shandong province in 1966, integrates Chinese ink brushwork with photography through his original "Linear System,” thereby reflecting the visual effect of traditional Chinese culture in photographic works and pushing forward a trend of Chinese “photographic painting” that begins with Lang Jingshan.
Chen is not content to focus on pure technique, instead making use of his innovations to explore various subjects such as nature, human society, and photography’s relationship with the spirit world. He won the 11th China Photography Gold Award (Art Creation category).
Daido Moriyama

60 × 80 cm (outer frame) photographed in 1971, Produced in 2015
Daido Moriyama is a Japanese photographer who was born in Osaka in 1938. He rose to prominence in the 1960s and 1970s alongside Miyako Ishiuchi and Araki Nobuyoshi, the three of them acting as the flagship figures of the pioneering photography group PROVOKE. They are now recognized as important photographers worldwide and are known for their stylistically fierce black-and-white images.
"I'm a stray dog roaming the streets," Moriyama has said. This is not self-mockery, but a potent metaphor for the world-class photographer. Like a stray dog, he has wandered around various cities in Japan for decades and taken photos of Japanese people. Black-and-white, granular, out-of-focus, wildly tilted – his images are controversial, constituting a immensely personal approach to the aesthetics of photography and a rebellion against deliberate framing and the classical mold of photographic beauty. Three Shadows Plus 3 Gallery offers a selection of representative works like Dog, Eros and several more.
Duan Yueheng

76×76cm, Archival pigment print
Duan Yueheng was born in 1951 and remains a landmark figure in the genre of Chinese landscape photography. He began taking photographs at the age of 30, and did not publish his first book, Black and White World, until the age of 60, subsequently winning the Bannekin Printing Prize in Chicago, USA. His works are mostly black-and-white, using their pure, exquisite sense of tonality to bring the viewer inside Duan Yueheng’s black-and-white vision.
Liu Ke

50 × 50 cm (Picture), Collection Art Micro-Spray
Liu Ke, born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province in 1977, studied fine arts with his family from an early age, and Huanghuang learned dance from an early age. Both of them currently live in Chengdu. Since 2017, they have been building the work "Mirror," which won the 11th Three Shadows Photography Award. Marcel Phil, deputy curator of the FOAM Photography Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands, commented: “These artists live together and create together as separate individuals, which reflects the very nature of photography – the relationship between watching and being watched, the visual dialogue that emerges between two people. Their works are concise, sincere, ingenious, and full of wisdom."
Ninagawa Mika

22.3×33.7cm Development and Printing of Colour Mixture
Born in Japan in 1972, Ninagawa Mika is one of the most popular contemporary female artists in Japan alongside Murakami Takashi and Nara Yoshitomo. She trains her own unique view largely on plants, goldfish, girls and landscapes, making a fresh, immediate visual impact thanks to her poignant sense of fantasy and creative use of high saturation and contrast. Her work suggests that decadence and emptiness coexistence within ultimate beauty.
Zhang Kechun

55 ×105×3 cm (Outer Frame Size)
Collection Art Micro Spray
Zhang Kechun is well known for his large-scale photographs of the effects of industrialization on the Chinese landscape. He creates epic visions that narrate the significance of the earth in the identity of modern China. He believes mountains and rivers have always been the strongest embodiment of human feelings in China, looming large in the cultural consciousness, and places them in dialogue with contemporary Chinese society His latest series have continued to develop an even sharper focus on changes within contemporary China.
